In Islamic boarding schools, santri are required to be able adapt well the activities and regulations that apply. The number of schedules must accepted by santri, sometimes creates different conditions can have an impact on their life patterns. However, it is found some Mts difficulty in learning process. Therefore, one way overcome these difficulties increase self-regulated learning. cognitive behavior therapy treatment effective efforts for MTs which observed through changes thoughts santri. purpose this research formulate how counseling improve at level. This uses a quantitative quasi-experimental method nonequivalent control group design model pre-posttest approach. Based results research, after counseling, there was medium category from 11 decreased 2 high 16 increased rapidly 27 experimental class has mean 90.37 while 83.57. Thus, interpreted provision increases implementation approach functional analysis ABC (Antencedent, Behavior, Consequences) been modified with values ​​and invites always optimistic (at-tafâul) help (at-ta'awûn) learning.
